Private charter or cabin charter

Private charter is where you charter a whole boat for your group (family, friends, business associates, or whatever), so in this case you have the boat to yourselves and you can usually decide your own route and itinerary. The price for private charter is always for the whole boat per week, not per person. Some boats include harbour fees (the fee that a port charges you to be able to stay in the port for the night) in the price but some do not - this will be clearly noted in the prices for each boat. Your meals on board for private charter are always extra and charged per person per week. Usually half-board of breakfast and lunch every day is mandatory and full-board of breakfast, lunch and dinner every day is optional. You can either take you drinks from the bar, signing a chit each time, and pay the total at the end of the cruise or you can opt for a once only payment for unlimited all-inclusive drinks, which is charged per person per week and is payable at the start of your cruise. The boats" bar prices are no more expensive than on the mainland, but when you are on holiday you will often drink more than usual and you will be surprised how much the bill can add up to by the end of the week, so we think the all-inclusive drinks offers are well worth considering, even if at first they may seem quite expensive. Also, with the all-inclusive drinks offer you don"t have the bother of having to sign a chit every time you take a drink, which we think makes for a much more relaxing cruise. Cabin charter is where you charter only the cabin/s you need on a pre-scheduled cruise, which has the route and itinerary already been decided for you. The pricing for cabin charter is less complicated than for private in that the prices are per person per week and always include harbour fees and at least half-board meals of breakfast and lunch every day plus dinner on your first and last evenings aboard (some boats also include full-board meals in the price). The only extra expenses are your drinks from the bar (there are no all-inclusive drinks offers on these types of cruises), National Park entrance fees and 5 dinners ashore. Prices are for double occupancy and since most of our boats have only either double or twin cabins, there is a single person supplement of 50% for single guests wishing to have a cabin to him/herself. Not many of our boats offer cabin charter, but if you check out our selection of Croatia cabin charter cruises, you may find some that have scheduled cruises for your preferred dates. You will noticed that some of the boats that offer cabin charter are also available for private charter but this only for the dates that have not already been scheduled for cabin charter. Once a cabin charter cruise has been scheduled here, it is a guaranteed departure.
